- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Garlic:
- Peel away the outer layers of the garlic bulb skin, leaving the skins of the individual cloves intact.
- Using a sharp knife, trim about 1/4 to 1/2 inch off the top of each garlic head, exposing the cloves.

- Wrap in Foil:
- Wrap the garlic heads securely in the foil, creating a packet.

- Roast for about 30-40 minutes or until the cloves feel soft when pressed.
- Cool and Extract Garlic:
- Allow the roasted garlic to cool for a few minutes before handling.
- Once cool enough to touch, carefully open the foil packet.
- Squeeze the bottom of each clove to extract the softened garlic.
- Store or Use Immediately:
- Store any unused roasted garlic in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
