Instructions:
- Cook the Meat:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned and cooked through.
- Drain any excess fat and add the taco seasoning mix according to the package instructions. Set aside to cool.
- Layering the Jars:
- Use clean and dry quart-sized Mason jars for assembling the salad.
- Start by adding a layer of salsa at the bottom of each jar.
- Follow with layers of the cooked meat, cherry tomatoes, black beans, corn, lettuce, red onion, cheese, and black olives.
- Repeat the layers until the jar is filled, leaving some space at the top.
- Topping and Sealing:
- Add a dollop of sour cream on top of the last layer in each jar.
- If using cilantro, sprinkle some on top.
- Seal the jars tightly with lids and store them in the refrigerator.
- To Serve:
- When ready to eat, shake the jar to distribute the dressing, or pour the contents into a bowl.
- Optionally, crush some tortilla chips on top for added crunch.

Directions
- Cook Meat:

Repeat layers, leaving space at the top. - Top and Seal:
