Here’s a classic and tangy-sweet Sweet Amish Macaroni Salad recipe! It’s creamy, colorful, and perfect for potlucks, barbecues, or everyday meals.


🥗 Sweet Amish Macaroni Salad

📝 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni, cooked and cooled
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1½ tablespoons white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, finely chopped
  • ½ cup carrot, shredded or finely chopped
  • ½ cup sweet pickles or relish
  • ½ small onion, finely diced
  • Optional garnish: paprika or extra chopped egg

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Stir in cooked macaroni, eggs, celery, carrots, onion, and relish until evenly coated.
  3. Cover and chill for at least 1–2 hours (or overnight) for best flavor.
  4. Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika or extra chopped egg before serving.
