Spicy Buffalo Chicken Calzone

This golden-baked calzone is packed with spicy Buffalo chicken, gooey mozzarella, and wrapped in pillowy pizza dough. Perfect for game day, family dinners, or whenever you’re craving comfort food with a kick.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb skinless, boneless chicken breasts, halved
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup Buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp vegetable or olive oil, divided
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 410°F.
  2. Place chicken in a saucepan of water and simmer for 15 minutes or until fully cooked. Drain, cool slightly, and shred with two forks.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter, add shredded chicken, and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in Buffalo wing sauce and cook another 2 minutes until well coated.
  4. On a floured surface, roll out pizza dough into a 12-inch circle. Brush with 1 tbsp oil.
  5. Spread 1 cup mozzarella on one half of the dough. Add Buffalo chicken on top, then the remaining cheese.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape. Press edges to seal tightly.
  7. Brush the top with the remaining oil and cut small slits on top to vent steam.
  8. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Slice and serve warm.
