Slow Cooker Hamburger Hash

Here’s a cozy and budget-friendly Slow Cooker Hamburger Hash — made with ground beef, potatoes, and veggies in a flavorful, hearty sauce. It’s a set-it-and-forget-it meal the whole family will love!


🥘 Slow Cooker Hamburger Hash

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 4–6 hours (on low)
Total Time: ~6 hours
Servings: 6


📝 Ingredients:

  • 1½ lbs ground beef
  • 4 cups diced potatoes (peeled, bite-sized)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1½ cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef with onion. Drain excess fat.
  2. Spray slow cooker with non-stick spray. Add potatoes, mixed vegetables, and ground beef mixture.
  3. In a bowl, stir together cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour sauce over the ingredients in the slow cooker. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or until potatoes are tender.
    (Or HIGH for 3–4 hours.)
  6. Optional: Sprinkle cheese on top in the last 10 minutes and cover to melt.

✅ Tips:

  • Add a splash of hot sauce for a little kick.
  • Sub in sweet potatoes or hash browns for a twist.
  • Use cream of celery or cheddar soup for flavor variety.

🧊 Storage:

  • Refrigerate leftovers for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze portions in airtight containers for up to 2 months.
