📝 Ingredients:

For the Biscuits:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¾ cup milk (or buttermilk)
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

For Garlic Butter Topping:

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley (optional)

🔥 Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients:
    In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, garlic powder, salt, and sugar (if using).
  3. Add cheese & wet ingredients:
    Stir in shredded cheese, then pour in milk and melted butter. Stir until just combined — don’t overmix.
  4. Scoop & bake:
    Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden.
  5. Garlic butter topping:
    While hot, brush biscuits with melted garlic butter and sprinkle with parsley.
