Why This Recipe Works

Oreo balls are a super easy, no-bake dessert made with just three ingredients! Crushed Oreo cookies are blended with cream cheese, then rolled into balls and dipped in chocolate for a rich, melt-in-your-mouth treat that’s perfect for parties, holidays, or as a quick indulgent snack.

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies (about 1 package)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz chocolate (milk, dark, or white), melted

Directions

  1. Crush the Oreos:
    • Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they are finely crushed. Alternatively, you can place them in a ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
  2. Make the Oreo Mixture:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Mix until well blended and smooth.
  3. Roll into Balls:
    • Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the Oreo mixture and roll it into a ball with your hands. Place each ball on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    • Repeat until all the mixture is used. You should get around 24-30 balls.
  4. Chill:
    • Place the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until firm.
  5. Dip in Chocolate:
    • Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
    • Using a fork, dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off, and place back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Chill and Set:
    • Refrigerate the dipped Oreo balls for another 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.

Note

  • Decorate: Sprinkle crushed Oreos, drizzled chocolate, or festive sprinkles on top of the balls before the chocolate hardens for a fun look.
