Minute Chocolate Chip Mug Cookie

⏱️ Ready In: 5 minutes (1 minute cook time!)

🍽️ Servings: 1

🍫 Texture: Soft, gooey center with melty chocolate chips

📍 Tools: Just a mug & a spoon!


📝 Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1–2 drops vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips (plus extra for topping if desired)

🔥 Directions:

  1. Melt Butter:
    In a microwave-safe mug, melt butter (about 15–20 seconds).
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients:
    Stir in brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, and salt. Add the egg yolk and mix well.
  3. Add Flour & Chips:
    Stir in flour until a dough forms. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Microwave:
    Microwave for 40–60 seconds, depending on your microwave. Start with 40 seconds and add 5–10 more as needed — center should be soft and slightly gooey.
  5. Enjoy:
    Let cool for a minute, then grab a spoon and dig in! Optional: top with vanilla ice cream or an extra sprinkle of chocolate chips 🍨🍫

✅ Tips:

  • Don’t overcook — it keeps cooking a bit after microwaving.
  • Only use 1 egg yolk — not the whole egg, or it’ll be rubbery.
  • Want it extra rich? Swap 1 tbsp flour for cocoa powder for a chocolatey twist!
