Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 ¼ cups oat flour
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 6 apples, cored and cut into wedges
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix oat flour, almond flour, brown sugar, and salt. Add melted butter and stir until mixture resembles coarse sand.
  3. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, add apple wedges, lemon juice, cinnamon, and ginger. Toss to coat.
  4. Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over apples.
  5. Bake uncovered for 50–60 minutes, until the top is golden and crisp.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
