Easy Yogurt Bread

Here’s a soft, simple Easy Yogurt Bread recipe — no yeast, no kneading required! It’s moist, fluffy, and great for breakfast toast, sandwiches, or just warm with butter.


🍞 Easy Yogurt Bread

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Bake Time: 45–50 minutes
Total Time: ~1 hour
Servings: 8–10 slices


📝 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (Greek or regular, unsweetened)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional, for slight sweetness)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for a sweet version)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a standard 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients:
    In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix wet ingredients:
    In another bowl, whisk yogurt, eggs, oil, honey, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine:
    Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and stir until just combined — do not overmix.
  5. Pour into the loaf pan, spread evenly, and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.

✅ Tips:

  • Use whole milk Greek yogurt for a richer loaf.
  • Want a savory version? Skip the honey and add herbs, garlic powder, or cheese.
  • Store at room temp for 2 days or refrigerate up to 5 days. Freezes well too!
