Chicken Alfredo Garlic Parmesan Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook until they are browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly, and bring it to a simmer. Let it simmer for about 2 minutes.
  6. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  7. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it in the sauce until well coated.
  9. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss everything together until heated through.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes

  • Be cautious not to overcook the chicken as it might become tough and dry. Make sure it’s cooked through but still tender.
