Ingredients:

For Cajun Seasoning:

  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (adjust according to taste)
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Cajun seasoning by combining all the spices listed under “Cajun Seasoning” in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breast strips with 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning, making sure they are evenly coated. Set aside to marinate for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Add the marinated chicken breast strips to the skillet. Cook until they are no longer pink in the center and have a nice brown crust on the outside, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss until the pasta is well coated.
  8. Return the cooked Cajun chicken to the skillet and toss with the pasta and sauce until everything is heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
  9. Serve the Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired. Enjoy!

This recipe serves 2-3 people. Adjust the ingredients accordingly if you’re serving more people.
