Here’s a flavorful and easy Parmesan Baked Pork Chops recipe — crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and ready in under 30 minutes!

🧀 Parmesan Baked Pork Chops

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20–25 minutes
Total Time: ~35 minutes
Servings: 4

📝 Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops (¾–1 inch thick)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup Italian-style breadcrumbs (or plain + 1 tsp Italian seasoning)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment.
  2. Mix coating:
In a shallow bowl, combine Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Prepare pork chops:
Pat pork chops dry. Brush both sides with olive oil or butter, then dredge in the Parmesan mixture, pressing to coat well.
  4. Bake:
Place pork chops in the dish and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden and internal temp reaches 145°F (63°C).
(For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2–3 minutes.)
  5. Rest & serve:
Let rest 3–5 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

🍽️ Serving Ideas:

  • Mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or a green salad
  • Drizzle with lemon juice for brightness
  • Add a side of garlic butter noodles or rice pilaf

✅ TIPS for Success:

  • Use thick-cut chops (¾”–1″): They stay juicier and don’t dry out as easily.
  • Pat pork chops dry before coating: Helps the Parmesan mixture stick better.
  • Oil or butter first: Brushing with olive oil or butter helps the coating crisp up nicely in the oven.
  • Use a wire rack: Place chops on a rack over a baking sheet for maximum crispiness on all sides.
  • Check internal temp: Pork is done at 145°F (63°C). Let rest a few minutes after baking.
  • For extra crunch: Finish under the broiler for 2–3 minutes at the end of baking.

📝 Notes:

  • No breadcrumbs? Use crushed pork rinds, almond flour, or panko as a substitute.
  • Make it spicy: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the coating mix.
  • Low-carb/keto version: Replace breadcrumbs with finely crushed almonds or grated parmesan only.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best texture.
