- 1 bag (30 oz) frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup chopped onion (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Topping:
- 2 cups cornflakes, crushed
- ¼ cup butter, melted

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
