🦐 Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Optional: Parmesan cheese, lemon slices
  • Optional for serving: cooked pasta or crusty bread

1. SautΓ© Garlic
Melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant (1–2 min).

2. Cook Shrimp
Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook 2–3 min per side until pink.

3. Deglaze Pan
Pour in wine and lemon juice. Simmer 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.

4. Finish Sauce
Add remaining butter and parsley. Toss shrimp in the sauce until well coated.

5. Serve
Serve over pasta or with bread. Garnish with lemon slices and Parmesan if desired.

  • Use raw, fresh, or thawed shrimp for best flavor.
  • Don’t overcook β€” shrimp turns rubbery fast!
  • To make it creamy, stir in 2–3 tbsp heavy cream after adding wine.
  • White wine substitute: chicken broth + a splash of white vinegar or lemon juice.
