- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×9 or 9×13 baking dish. - Mix Casserole Base:
In a large bowl, combine green beans, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese, sour cream, chopped onion, and seasonings. Stir in ½ cup of the French fried onions. - Pour & Bake:
Spread the mixture into the baking dish. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. - Top & Bake Again:
Remove casserole from oven and sprinkle remaining 1 cup of fried onions on top. Return to oven for 5–10 more minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
