Here’s a simple, healthy, and flavorful Easy Sautéed Zucchini with Parmesan — the perfect quick side dish that pairs well with almost any meal. Lightly caramelized and topped with a touch of cheese, it’s ready in just 10 minutes!

🥒 Easy Sautéed Zucchini with Parmesan

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 8–10 minutes
Total Time: ~15 minutes
Servings: 4

📝 Ingredients:

  • 2 medium zucchini, sliced into ¼-inch rounds or half-moons
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley or red pepper flakes

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add zucchini slices in a single layer. Let cook undisturbed for 2–3 minutes to get a nice sear.
  3. Stir and sauté another 4–6 minutes, or until zucchini is tender and golden brown.
  4. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using). Cook 1 more minute until fragrant.
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, stir to combine, and remove from heat.
  6. Garnish and serve hot!

✅ Tips:

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan — zucchini cooks best in a single layer.
  • Add a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
  • You can mix in yellow squash for color variety.

🧊 Storage:

  • Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in a skillet for best texture.
