🍽️ Crockpot Meatloaf

Crockpot Meatloaf is a tender, juicy, and flavorful twist on the classic comfort food — made effortlessly in your slow cooker! It stays moist and delicious with minimal prep and is perfect for a no-fuss dinner.


🍽️ Crockpot Meatloaf

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 6–7 hours (low) or 3–4 hours (high)
Total Time: ~6–7 hours
Servings: 6–8


📝 Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (or crushed crackers)
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
  • ½ cup ketchup, divided
  • Optional glaze: ¼ cup brown sugar + ¼ cup ketchup

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  2. Mix gently until just combined. Form into a loaf shape.
  3. Line the bottom of the slow cooker with parchment paper or foil (for easier cleanup). Place the meatloaf inside.
  4. Spread half the ketchup (or glaze) over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Optional: For a caramelized glaze, transfer to a baking sheet, brush with extra glaze, and broil for 2–3 minutes.

✅ Tips:

  • Add shredded carrots or zucchini for extra moisture and nutrition.
  • Swap ketchup glaze with BBQ sauce for a smoky flavor.
  • Leftovers make great meatloaf sandwiches!
