🍰 Apple Pie Filling Coffee Cake

Here’s a cozy, comforting bake that’s perfect for brunch or dessert — Apple Pie Filling Coffee Cake! 🍎☕ It’s buttery, cinnamony, and packed with tender apple goodness in every bite.


🍰 Apple Pie Filling Coffee Cake

📝 Ingredients:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (21 oz) can apple pie filling
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup sour cream (for extra moisture)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

🥄 Streusel Topping:

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup cold butter, cubed

Optional Glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp milk or cream
  • Splash of vanilla extract

🔥 Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or a 9×9 for a thicker cake.
  2. Make the batter:
    In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, sour cream, vanilla, and cinnamon. Fold in apple pie filling (cut large apple slices if needed).
  3. Pour into pan:
    Spread batter evenly in the prepared dish.
  4. Make the streusel:
    Mix brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter.
  5. Bake:
    Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly.
  6. Add glaze (optional):
    Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled cake.
