🍫 Death by Chocolate Bundt Cake

🍫 Death by Chocolate Bundt Cake

📝 Ingredients:

For the cake:

  • 1 box devil’s food cake mix
  • 1 (3.9 oz) box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup warm water
  • 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Optional chocolate ganache glaze:

  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan well.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, oil, eggs, and water until smooth and combined.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour batter evenly into prepared Bundt pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
  6. Let cake cool in pan for 10–15 minutes, then carefully invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Optional: Make ganache by heating cream until simmering. Pour over chocolate chips in a bowl, let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake.
