🍤 Pan Fried Shrimp Recipe

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 6–8 minutes
Total Time: ~13 minutes
Servings: 4

📝 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Juice of ½ a lemon
  • Optional: chopped parsley or red pepper flakes for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer.
  3. Cook for 2–3 minutes on one side without moving until golden and seared. Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add butter and garlic, stir until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Squeeze in lemon juice, toss to coat, and remove from heat.
  6. Garnish with parsley or a sprinkle of chili flakes if desired. Serve hot!

✅ Tips:

  • Use thawed, dry shrimp to avoid excess moisture in the pan.
  • Don’t overcrowd the skillet — cook in batches if needed.
  • Great over rice, pasta, salad, or tacos!

🧊 Storage:

  • Refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat gently in a skillet or microwave — don’t overcook!
