Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 4–6 hours (on low)
Total Time: ~6 hours
Servings: 6–8

📝 Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1½ cups Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (for tang)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Place chicken in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Pour sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or until the chicken is tender and shreddable.
  5. Shred chicken with two forks in the sauce and stir to coat well. Let sit for 10–15 minutes before serving.

✅ Tips:

  • Use chicken thighs for juicier results.
  • Serve on buns, baked potatoes, tacos, or over rice or pasta.

🧊 Storing & Freezing:

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze shredded BBQ chicken in a sealed container for up to 2 months.
