Here’s a moist, fruity, and irresistible Strawberry Bread Recipe — bursting with fresh strawberries and just the right touch of sweetness. Perfect for spring mornings, brunch, or as a quick treat with coffee or tea!

🍓 Strawberry Bread Recipe

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 50–60 minutes
Total Time: ~1 hour 15 minutes
Servings: 8–10 slices

📝 Ingredients:

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tsp vinegar)
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon cinnamon or lemon zest for added flavor

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
  3. In a separate bowl, mix buttermilk, oil, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gently stir the wet ingredients into the dry until just combined. Fold in strawberries (coat them lightly with a tablespoon of flour first to prevent sinking).
  5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

✅ Tips:

  • Use ripe, sweet strawberries for the best flavor.
  • Add a simple glaze (powdered sugar + milk) for a bakery-style finish.
  • Make it in mini loaf pans or muffins for grab-and-go options.

🧊 Storage:

  • Store at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  • Wrap tightly and freeze for up to 2 months.
