📝 Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 1½ tsp ground cinnamon

For the Icing:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk or cream
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

🔥 Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a round baking dish or an 8×8 pan.
  2. Make the dough:
    In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until a soft dough forms. Don’t overmix.
  3. Roll out the dough:
    Turn dough out onto a floured surface. Roll into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  4. Add the filling:
    Spread softened butter over the dough. Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Roll and cut:
    Roll the dough tightly from the long side. Slice into 8 equal rolls and place in the prepared dish.
  6. Bake:
    Bake for 22–25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Add icing:
    While warm, drizzle with icing made by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
