These Coconut Snowballs are soft, sweet, and coated in fluffy coconut flakes — the perfect no-bake treat for the holidays or any time you crave a tropical twist on dessert!


❄️ The Best Coconut Snowballs

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Chill Time: 1 hour
Total Time: ~1 hour 20 minutes
Servings: 18–24 balls


📝 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sweetened shredded coconut, divided
  • 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: ½ cup finely chopped nuts or mini chocolate chips

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup shredded coconut, graham cracker crumbs, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and optional mix-ins if using. Stir until fully combined.
  2. Refrigerate mixture for 30–60 minutes to firm up for easier rolling.
  3. Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  4. Roll each ball in the remaining 1 cup shredded coconut to coat.
  5. Chill for another 30 minutes before serving for best texture.

✅ Tips:

  • For extra coconut flavor, add ½ teaspoon coconut extract.
  • Want a chocolate version? Dip the balls in melted dark chocolate before rolling in coconut!
  • Store-bought graham cracker crumbs work great, or crush your own.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months — thaw before serving.
